Fishers of Men
The Fishers of
Men National Tournament Trail is a nonprofit,
nondenominational
ministry whose mission is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ
to fishermen
and their families
through
competitive, family-friendly fishing
tournaments.
The Ohio Division consists of professionally-run fishing tournaments
on one Saturday
a month for five months, with meetings on Friday
evenings. At the Friday meeting, anglers are treated to a meal, tournament
details, and door prizes. But most importantly, they hear a Gospel message and
are offered the opportunity to accept Jesus into their lives.
All of our tournaments are team events, with each team consisting of two
members. Membership is open to anyone regardless of religion, gender, age,

FOM Legacy
 The
Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail presents the most exciting opportunity in Adult/Junior fishing our “Legacy Series”.
This is truly competitive fishing for the next generation. The Ohio Division will conduct two Tournaments
during prime fishing time.
The top 1/3 of the field will earn a check based on their cumulative team weight. There will also be two
Big Fish awards at each event.
In 2008, Fishers of Men will conduct
3 Legacy Championship events; a Southern
Championship June 20 & 21, a Central Championship July 18 & 19 and a Northern Championship Aug. 8 & 9 2008.
Each event will be preceded by two official practice
days following the off limit period. First place at each of these 3 Championship events will be a Triton
Aluminum/Mercury Outboard package. All teams who participate
in just one Legacy event will be eligible to attend any of our three Legacy Championship events.
One of our popular Friday night Pre-tournament meetings precedes legacy Tournaments. At the meeting,
anglers and their families will receive a free meal, hear an inspirational
message and have the opportunity to win valuable door prizes.
Entry fees for the Legacy events are $75 per tournament making them affordable for the budget-minded family. To participate, a team must consist of one angler who has reached his/her 19th birthday before Sept 10 2008 and one angler who has not reached his/her birthday before Sept 10 2008.
Membership for Legacy participants is $25 per team, which covers the adult and any junior member. For members who join and participate in our Team Series, a special Fishers of Men Gold membership is available for $50, which includes both the Legacy Series and Team Series memberships. Legacy members will receive a pair of Fishers of Men Legacy patches and FOM Legacy Decals and have the eligibility to participate in any Legacy event anywhere in the country. To register complete the Legacy member application and mail it to the Director of the Division you plan to participate in.
